Family Vacation

Yes, this post is mainly for family who wish to see some of our vacation pics. We went to northern MI (still in the lower penisula) and stayed near the Au Sable Institute (Christian, environmental agency). We stayed at a great cabin on a lake where we spent most of the trip, although we did take a day trip to the UP and to Mackinac Island.
I uploaded the pics in the "small" format, but I'm pretty sure you can click them to see the bigger version. Enjoy!

Lori!!!

Sniffle, sniffle....

That is OUR house at Au Sable, and OUR beach...

We have spent a few happy days there for several years in a row...and likely will not ever do so again.

Isn't it wonderful to get away? Au Sable was the ONLY place we were able to do so, and we were so thankful for it. We have so many happy memories...so...now, I guess that we bequeath that special place to your family! Go every year that you can!!!!

I SO love the pictures. My favorites are of Isaac walking toward the camera and looking down, Isaac & Selah looking away from the camera toward the water, the three older kids playing in the sand, and the close-up of Elijah. They are all just beautiful...oh,yeah, the pictures too.

Love,
Mom/Mema/Grandma

Hi,

I'm a frequent reader of your Blog. Last month we vacationed in Traverse City; didn't make it to the Bridge, though. Isn't it beautiful?

Oh, and next summer we are going to Cedar Point! We love it there.
