Isaac's Pancake Cake

Ever since I first read "Big Rabbit's Bad Mood" to my kiddos, I've thought of making a pancake-cake for Isaac. He *loves* pancakes!  I'm not sure where that kid puts 'em all, but he can INHALE 6 of my homemade chocolate chip pancakes in no time!

So now, with Isaac's birthday this weekend, and also some family in from out of town, it was time for the first pancake-cake attempt!

He's wishing *so* hard ~ looks like Talitha is too!

I was thinking it was going to be taller, so maybe I made 'em too big......but no, really, once we sliced it - the pieces were the perfect size.

The best part was when Isaac finally realized it was "just like Big Rabbit's Momma making a cake made out of pancakes, Momma!!".  Yes I know, son.  ;)  I'm so glad you liked it~

My daughter is in love with the cake. Pancakes have always been her favorite food.

Guess I am making this come February:)

You're such a great mom! What a neat idea. Neither of my kids likes cake, so we've been going the giant cookie with icing route for years. Might have to give ths a whirl...
