Elijah Rock

Ok, so this took a while, but I think I managed to add some music to my blog. Not just any ol' music for you to listen to - this is the song that inspired our newest blessing's interesting name. I sang this song, Elijah Rock, arranged by Moses Hogan (I believe), while in our college concert choir. I believe it was also sung by Mahalia Jackson - a very cool spiritual!

So if you want to listen to an awesome spiritual - just click on the play button in the right hand column of this page - the mini-MP3 player-thingy. Let me know if it works. It is a few minutes long, but worth it if you have the time. Crank up the volume!!

Lori,
I LOVE your son's name!!! Really cool name! My newest baby (he's 6 mos.) is Elias John-Jireh. Meaning God is Jehovah. God is gracious and provides.

Hi Lori,

A friend at church, Janet Brinkman, suggested that I read your blog because we have so much in common. I'm not familiar with blogging so if I'm doing something wrong, please tell me. My e-mail is carrie_ellerbrock@yahoo.com. I'd like to e-mail you sometime. My dh and I have 5 precious ones under 6 and expecting #6 on Valentine's day. Okay, so that was yesterday. Doctor says if not sooner, Monday will be the day to be induced. Baby is hiccuping right now. We are a homeschooling family, too.

Take care,
Carrie
