Our little *Turtle*

I can't help thinking of this wee one as our little "turtle". It came about that our very first ultrasound, just to confirm that everything was okay due to some bleeding issues, showed our little babe looking somewhat like a little turtle, swimming around as happy as could be in there! Since then I just can't help thinking of my sweet turtle.....

Also, since we are purposefully not finding out the baby's sex, I can't call him or her by our chosen names.....instead I have my sweet baby turtle. Awwww.....

**and no, Mom, we're not naming him "Henry" nor any version thereof. Just to clarify.

p.s. we had our 20 week u/s last week and it showed everything was fine. I have to go back in about 3 weeks, just to get a better shot of the heart chambers/valves, plus a shot looking up the baby's nose (it's amazing what they can look for). The tech told me she could see all the heart chambers, she wasn't concerned, but the doctor would want certain, very specific, views. So I'll get another chance to see our little turtle in mid-Nov. *sweet sigh*

Oh...bummer. I thought you had found out (reading your title). Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait. My husband would go crazy from the suspense if we didn't find out what we were having. Kudos to you!

Nope, this was actually my dh's idea NOT to find out the sex (well, personally I blame our friend's who never find out - it's ALL their fault *wink*).

As a confessed neurotic organized, this goes against everything in my being. I like to find out, set up the crib in the appropriate room, crochet up a sweet blankie in pinks or blues, etc.etc.etc.

Yet I'm slowly getting used to the idea. Obviously, I'll be ecstatic either way - and with all these c-sections, it's a nice surprise amidst all these very specific dates and times and plans.

*sigh* I can't wait to find out though...... it *is* hard.

Awwwww, I love the name Henry! of course I like regular names, not names no one ever heard of.

We don't really do ultrasounds unless they are 100% necessary. I think I had mine at 20 weeks, and right around my due date. We never wanted to know the sex. We decorated the room in neutral colors, picked out girl and boy names.
